Being the naive Lad i was then...probably yes!Lol.Sadly my Team was in digs up the Road..(Edmonton i seem to recall)and opportunities for real japery were at a minimum...our P.O of the time was Team leader too.

PS You may recall the Bowes Road Caretaker?..cant remember his Name...we all thought he was a miserable old sod,but i found out many Years later he had lost his Wife in very tragic circumstances.

I don't think I've been to Bowes Road since we refurbished it around 1988 - we slept on site, which made for some hi-jinks .

I was there too...small world,i was stuck on the painting team with some local Bro,s.Being barely 17 at the time ,i was probably the one who suffered the high jinks!!Tartan paint,left handed screw drivers etc..the whole shebang!I fell for most of them too....lol

One thing ive learned is what a small World it is on this Board.

this is an email my sister receieved (i know im bad but she just left it running here how can you expect me not to) talking about the "dating scene" of jw youth, specifically girls.

That email is definitely spot on.

Twickenham was notorious for the "Cattle market".Boy the fun me and my Mates had there.Im afraid we were definitely naughty "players"and we were even spoke to by the Elders.But 11 hours ministry a month will see your way to MS!It did with me.Amazingly the minor celebrity involved with being a Ms definitely impressed the Sisters.

How utterly,utterly ridiculous.

Also,when we did make new Friends we spent the evening getting pissed with them at "the bird in hand".(Twickers regulars will know what i mean .lol)

I personally think she is milking her 15 minutes.Would we not do the same to be set up financially for life?

When asked if her Celebrity was warranted or not she even agreed that it was not!

Her Titmusses are very agreeable too.

i didnt know what other word to use but nerdy,, but you will get the picture when i tell you a couple of my favorites.
